Job Summary
We are looking to add an Advanced Neurophysiology Technologist to our EEG Department at Wolfson's Children's Hospital. This is a Full-Time, various shifts opportunity. This EEG Technologist will perform EEG studies and work closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests. Certification Note: Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) is required within 1 year of date of hire.
As a EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing EEG studies.
- Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
- Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
- Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care.
- Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.
