Job Summary

Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring an Engagement Coordinator. This is a full-time position at Wolfson Children's Hospital within our Family Support Services department.This is a program for chronic patients and their families to engage them in events here at the Wolfson Children's Hospital and within the community.  This position will include collaboration with community partners, the Wolfson/Baptist foundation and several department stakeholders.

Engagement Coordinator, Family Support Services Department, Job Responsibilities: 

  • You will work under the direction of our department director.
  • Responsible for tasks including, but not limited to donor engagement, planning, scheduling.
  • Evaluating special events for Wolfson Children's Hospital for patient that have complex or chronic illness.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partner as needed, to successfully plan and execute special events, family outings and unique experiences for children that rely on Wolfson Children's Hospital for their care.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Donor Engagement Required
  • 3-5 Years Experience working in a hospital setting Required
  • 3-5 Years Event Planning Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) preferred
