*Up to $250 SOB for PT Nights*
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit on our pediatric and adult patient care areas at Wolfson in Downton Jacksonville. This is a part-time nights opportunity 7:00pm-7:00am.
As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients, Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
- *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

- Less than 1 year Mental Health Technician Experience
- Nursing Assistant Experience
- Corpsman Experience
License and Certification
- Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
