Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Pediatric Neuroscience team. This is a PRN Days position located at Wolfson Children’s Hospital Jacksonville, FL (Downtown)..
We are looking for Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Nursing Assistants (NAs) support RNs in the care of patients and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
- Collecting lab specimens
- Intake and output monitoring
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Courses Required: Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current enrollment in nursing school. The following have been grandfathered into the Nursing Assistant role: Foreign nurse, Foreign Physician, and nursing assistants hired prior to April 23, 2015 without a Florida CNA license.
