Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital team up with THE PLAYERS Championship for family-friendly support

Families can enjoy comfort, care and child safety resources while attending the tournament.

Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital are excited to continue collaborating with THE PLAYERS Championship in 2025, offering tournament attendees comfort, care and essential services throughout the event. The 51st anniversary of THE PLAYERS tournament is set to take place from March 11 - 16, 2025.

All ticket holders are welcome to visit the Family Lounge, a cool, air-conditioned area designed for parents and children. The lounge features private spaces for diaper changes, breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Complimentary diapers and wipes will be available for families.

Baptist Health will again provide medical assistance at the First Aid Headquarters near the No. 8 green, with additional first aid stations at the No. 4 tee, No. 9 tee, Davis Love III entry (near the No. 10 tee) and No. 15 tee. Baptist Health will also provide 12 sunscreen kiosks for tournament attendees. The kiosks will be located at first aid stations, restrooms and other areas around the course, including the Family Lounge.

THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, which reaches beyond the hospital walls to promote safe and healthy childhoods for all children in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, will be on-site to provide families with educational materials on child safety.

As a special touch, babies born at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center South, Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Baptist Medical Center Clay during tournament week will receive an exclusive "Island Baby" onesie. Babies in Wolfson Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the event will also receive the commemorative onesie, paired with a card featuring important safe sleep guidelines, provided by THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health.
