From the Doctor
I moved to Jacksonville over 17 years ago after having been on faculty at University of Illinois in Chicago. We originally moved to the city because one of my children was born blind and St. Augustine had a school for the deaf and blind. Over the years, I have grown to love Jacksonville and consider myself a native. I have a great affinity for the ocean and enjoy spending time at the beach with friends and family.
I have authored numerous publications, abstracts, book chapters and poster presentations, and am a review board member of the medical journal Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the official scientific publication of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. I am certified as a Clinical Physician Investigator by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
