From the Doctor

When caring for patients, I regard every potential patient as if they were a family member in need of care. I recognize that most of my patients do not have a strong understanding of the conditions they face, and I believe it is my responsibility to simplify the medical jargon. I accompany my patients through every step of the treatment and spend time discussing their options, with the goal of making them feel as comfortable as possible.

Educating the community about brain disease and its treatment is important to me. I enjoy mentoring students and helping them along their career path. I feel privileged and lucky to do the work that I love, and in reciprocation I want to give back to my community with my time, skills and knowledge.

I am originally from Quebec, Canada, which explains the French accent. I moved to Buffalo, New York in 2004 where I met my wife. She and I are now proud parents of two daughters. Outside of the clinic, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family. When time allows, I also enjoy various activities including tennis, cycling, running and snow skiing.
