From the Doctor

Since coming to Jacksonville, I have published several articles and completed research on the treatment of arthritis. I also serve as President of the Northeast Florida Orthopaedic Society.

As a hand and upper extremity specialist, I treat all disorders of the hand, elbow, and shoulder in patients of all ages. When surgery is necessary, minimally invasive techniques are utilized whenever possible, in order to bring about the quickest and safest recovery for each patient. These techniques include endoscopic carpal tunnel release, needle aponeurotomy for Dupuytren's contracture and percutaneous release for trigger fingers. Other surgical procedures commonly performed include arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and microsurgery.

I have been a member of JOI since 1996. My wife and I enjoy raising our three children here in Jacksonville. In addition to my medical career and family activities, I enjoy water sports, reading, and exercising.
